Converts a 20 x 20 cm Plate and Frame filter into a two-chamber filter to allow a progressive filtration.
For example, install in a 20 Plate filter to create two 10 Plate "chambers," allowing the use of a set of rough filter sheets in the first chamber followed by a set of polishing sheets in the second chamber.
Sequential, progressive filtration eliminates one product transfer step, and so cuts down on oxidation and the risk of exposure to spoilage organisms.
Kit includes stainless separating plate, two Noryl end plates, and the necessary hardware to re-locate the filter's exit port to the floating rear plate.
