Alcohol tolerant up to 16% (v/v) with a low nitrogen requirement and a short lag phase. Can produce SO2under stressed conditions of high alcohol (>14% v/v) or low temperatures (20°C/68°F).
NT 112 is recommended for red wines with a firm tannic structure and enhances black currant, berry and spice flavors.
